  • Music Monday - March 27, 2023

    March 27, 2023 2 min read

Hey No_System crew, We've been a bit behind on our Music Mondays, but we're back with a killer lineup of tunes we're loving this week. What have you been listening to, and what do you think we need to hear? Share your recommendations in the comments, and let's start building our ultimate Spotify playlist together.

LØLØ - 5,6,7,8 (feat. girlfriends) We're total suckers for a catchy pop-punk track, and 5,6,7,8 checks all of those boxes. The anthemic chorus and danceable vibes make it perfect for driving around with the windows down as Austin warms up.

LØLØ says this about the new single: "'5,6,7,8' is about dancing around the truth and avoiding the inevitable with someone you love, but don't want to let go (even though you probably should). You know it probably isn't going to work out between you two, and that fkn sucks - so you try to avoid it... but that only makes things worse. Although I am a terrible dancer, I love dancing, so I thought it could be a really cool metaphor for this feeling."

Her previous single, u turn me on (but u give me depression) is fun too:

Though it's a little older, Sheer Mag has been back in our queue lately. If you haven't heard Expect the Bayonet, it's a must-listen—super catchy!

We've also been listening to Spanish Love Songs' 2020 album. Self-Destruction (as a Sensible Career Choice) is so catchy. Depressing, but oh so addictive.

That's a wrap on this week's Music Monday, No_System crew! We hope these tracks hit the right notes for you as they do for us. Remember, we're always on the lookout for new music to vibe with, so don't hesitate to share your current favorites in the comments. Let's keep the musical journey going together and discover some rad tunes.

Keep on rocking, and we'll see you next Monday with more musical gems! 🤘
