Karl Marx, the author of "The Communist Manifesto" made it his life's mission to "dethrone God and destroy capitalism." Marx dreamt of a communist revolution where religion would be abolished, because he believed workers wouldn't need it if they found happiness in being equals. What Marx didn't understand was that human beings are created to worship, and when we reject God, we'll inevitably fill that void with something or someone else. Psalm 96:5 - "For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens."
