So Brian spends an awful lot of time on Clubhouse with people who make NFT art. There's a saying that you do what the people around you do. Lately, the things that the people around us have been doing are NFTs.
We've been trying to figure out where No_System fits into this new world. There are a lot of possibilities: from virtual clothing, to our earlier AR pieces, to some other things that we've been dreaming about. We tested the waters recently with a Question Everything glitch type piece. That's still exciting, but tonight we're rolling out a new collection called See Beneath.
The collection is made up of reinterpretations of all of the past No_System artwork done in what we're calling "Virtual Test Prints". In the screenprinting world, when you're setting up a new screen you run a few passes on to old paper before you do a print run to make sure that everything is good. These test prints turn into interesting abstract collages of work.
Here are a handful of the pieces.
We'll be releasing items in the collection through the end of the year.
Here's one more video with a quick roadmap of how everything will roll out.
There’ll be 500 pieces spread out across editions of 1, 3, 5, and 10.
When the collection closes at the end of the year, holders will have the option of burning their NFT for a physical print.
We’ll be doing some surprise airdrops of other art bits
Holders will have an ongoing store discount and access to a holder collection
And you’ll also have the joy of knowing you’re helping No_System grow by allowing us to put out these fine art collections in between merchandise design. That maybe sounds a bit silly, but we’ve bootstrapped this project from the beginning and to be able to continue to build it through selling our art is really important to us.
There's so much more we're working on before the end of the year and we can't wait to tell you about it. Thanks for helping us grow this year.
