We live in a society. (shrugs in cat). You know in your heads that the cats are probably getting together for tea, crumpets, and shenanigans. If you saw them, it would probably be like that scene in Edgar Wright's Hot Fuzz where Detective Angel stumbles upon the secret society, and they let him know it's all for "The Greater Good." These cats might say it's for the "Great-Purr Good," but no, they're cats, and they don't speak English well enough to come up with horrible dad jokes like that. If we could read their thoughts, it would probably just be rehashes of "Murder! I want catnip! and various flavors of scorn. "We live in a society" indeed.
